Miraculous Healings in Ghana

I was part of a mission trip to Ghana. My role was to teach local clergy about the healing gifts of the Holy Spirit. It was amazing!
I was there to teach the healing ministry to men and women who had been ordained in the past five years. There were thirty-five in all. Assisting me was Canon Barnard, a senior priest who taught on the person of the Holy Spirit and ministered in blessing, soaking prayer, and deliverance.
I taught on prayer for four types of healing – physical, emotional, spiritual, and relational. As a part of that teaching, we went through the family tree of each person, praying for both blessings and curses from each individual’s ancestry. I prayed over each one. Some had tears streaming down their faces as we prayed.
At the time, I didn’t know what the Lord was doing because I was praying in the spirit. People came afterward to tell me what had happened to them and how impactful the prayer was. Not only did they feel they received something personally, but they knew that they had received something they could take and give. Wow, God!
I have to tell you about one prayer appointment. A priest asked me to come to her home to minister to her family. There were her three kids there and her husband, who was really, really sick. They thought he was going to die, and he thought he was going to die.
I was asked to pray for his asthma. His chest was so tight, he could hardly breathe, and he couldn’t walk. When I laid hands on him, I heard, “Conception to birth. ”I’m thinking, oh my goodness, how am I going to lay this on them. So, I just sat there. And I heard it again. And I really didn’t want to do it because this is something personal, and they hadn’t received any teaching about it. So, I waited. I heard it a third time. And I said OK, Lord. I laid my hands on him. I told him to put his two hands out and picture the egg from his mother in one hand and the sperm from his father in the other hand, then put them together. Then I started the conception month by month. Each month, the Lord was giving me what I needed to pray for. I asked him if he was ready to be born. And he said yes. I asked him to “Invite Jesus to help you be born.” And Jesus helped him to be born.
I prayed for his asthma. His chest was still tight. But I knew God was going to do something, even if it wasn’t happening to him immediately. He said everything I prayed against was true. It needed to happen.
And I prayed against curses that were coming in while he was in the womb at certain times, and he said number one, the family didn’t want his mom to have him. They wanted him to be aborted. And someone was putting a curse on his mom about three months after conception while he was in the womb. Everywhere throughout the time of the pregnancy, where I had been praying, something was happening.
After praying with the father, I was asked to pray for the kids. The little one, who was about 14, had some questions. I had no idea about any of the things he was asking. I just said, “Holy Spirit, you got this!” And I was able to answer all his questions.
You know, with teenagers, you can’t fake it, right! Ok, well, he was like, “Oh, I can see that. And that makes sense.” And I’m thinking, “Thank you, Lord! Thank you, Lord!” Because I don’t know any of this stuff. But the Holy Spirit was giving me every single thing to explain to this guy, to answer all his questions. I talked to him for two hours!
Four days later, I saw the father. His color was good, before it had been grey and ashen. He gave me this bear hug. He was shaking me back and forth. He’s boasting, “The next day I’m coming up the steps, and I’m coming up and all of a sudden I realize I don’t have to hold on! I am running up the steps!” He said he could breathe even better than he was breathing before he got sick. Praise God!
I prayed for a lot of people in the mission field in Ghana. There were many eye issues, pain in the eye, or something in the eye. I’ll tell you about one woman. I was sitting about three or four feet from her. She couldn’t see the bright colors in the shirt I had on. The interpreter also had a colorful shirt. She couldn’t tell what color he had on.
I asked permission to put my hand on her eyes. After I prayed for her, she could see better, but she couldn't see anything more than about five feet away. I prayed again and asked her if she could see further, but she couldn't see further, so I prayed again. And all of a sudden, she could see everything! She could name every color everyone was wearing. We were praising God! And it went on and on and on. So many healed!
He wants His People to be healed.
We also held a medical outreach in an area that was 40 to 45% Muslim. On the first day, many women and children came. The second day, the Imam himself came. He walked around, making sure everything was ok, then joined us for prayer. It was just amazing!
